Some great games are coming to us! I’ve been wanting both Callisto protocol and weird West!

I would rather pay less (or zero) for online and get none of these mediocre games. This shit isn’t worth it.

I got Callisto Protocol at release, and didn’t regret it. It was a really enjoyable game and would recommend any who has an interest in sci-fi horror. I’ll just say don’t expect Resident Evil controls, etc, like a lot of people did. You have to be very deliberate and commit to up close combat in most cases.

I have heard multiple people say if you don’t compare it with Dead Space, it’s actually a pretty good game.

I felt that the controls ruined it. Seemed like they took an idea that might work for arcade cabinets meant to hoover up quarters and applied it poorly to a controller. That and the lack of reality fleshing out the story left my thoroughly whelmed.

I was really excited for Weird West. The developer, WolfEye Studios, was founded by Raphael Colantonio, co-founder of Arkane Studios and director of Prey, which I personally consider one of the greatest video games in history. Ultimately, I did enjoy Weird West a lot, but its smaller scale meant that it was lacking in the genius level design and “holy shit” moments of games like Prey and Dishonored 2 (Dishonored 2 in particular has two of the most mind-bogglingly awesome levels I’ve ever played in a game).

Unfortunately, due to my own high expectations I felt a lot more disappointment than I might have otherwise by the end of my experience with Weird West. But especially if you’ve never played it, getting it for free is a no-brainer. Hope you enjoy!

pretty good example of why i enjoy the essential tier. Excited to try Callisto and WW cause I’ve had my eye on each but never pulled the trigger.

Yeah, they are a good selection. Games are good enough that many people want to play, but not so good that majority of people have already bought them.
