GTA 6's PC release may come sooner than you think, says former Rockstar North technical director Obbe Vermeij, because Take-Two will be worried about AI ports.

Hmmm I’m oddly more favorable towards LLMs when their use means rich people or companies lose money.

And the “limits” are extremely easily bypassed, project i follow/contribute hasn’t even been affected since its already in progress.

Or they’ll be releasing it buggier than normal?

Or the reason they had so much time in between the previous times was so people would double dip and buy it for 2 systems.

Yeah small projects you can test yourself, something like gta would require hella manual testing/debugging even with ai, ai kinda sucks at testing stuff like a human, I just stopped having it run tests on personal use apps/frontends, better to just manually use and test it myself keeping note of any issues, it just doesnt detect sht

It’s partly a matter of trust, I’m not savvy enough to clean an infected package.

Nobody cleans infected packages, it’s just a matter of trusting the source and using one that’s popular enough some of the users will have done the hard work of checking.

Oddly, give it a year. They made so much more money off the online part that they practically (and literally on Epic) made GTAV free. Then we both get to try it for cheap.

GTA Online is also probably part of why there was a crazy amount of time between 5 and 6: They didn’t want to kill their cash cow.

Its not probably. They literally delayed starting it to focus on selling shark cash cards.
