I hope Scotland sorts this out properly. If it’s not UK / Scottish owned, it needs to be flattened because it’s all your data going out of the UK.
Also, this will be a precursor to a few Billionaires buying up land and building massive bunkers to protect their wealth from the Climate Crisis.
The rich love their disinformation centres toying with people’s dead relatives voices and faces to push for fascism.
It’s not even fascism. Fascism would be an improvement. The current plan seems to be for everyone to die off / the robots to slaughter everyone. And then only the 1% survive. Who rely on AI to do all the work and then maybe a few smarter people kept around so that they can keep explaining basic things to the 1%, such as how food grows, and how to restart the computer when it turns off.
Of course it’s an idiotic plan and it won’t work, because more than just the 1% have access to AI, and it’s generally speaking not the richest in society that are the cleverest and I suspect if they want to war they’ll lose it, but it’s still going to be a nightmare world to have to put up with in the meantime.
I’m hopeful that this BS can be mostly confined to the United States, and the rest of the world just ignores them for a couple of decades, and then they can come back to world politics when all the crypto billionaires have been dealt with.
The richest people in the world are not the cleverest in any way that helps society. It’s a trope pushed by the weathly.
Clever people are well aware that capitalism doesn’t reward clever. The damage this does to society is incalculable. The smartest person in the world is probably working a cash register.
