This is my biggest hurdle to No Man’s Sky, NGL. Thankfully, there’s an option to reset a quest to a more local star system, but that can be tedious if one’s near the end of said quest, as it completely undoes any progress before moving the marker to a spot closer to me.
Maybe I’ll get to it this time, maybe I’ll get distracted and run out of playtime.
I have around 40 hours in No Man’s Sky and it was a blast. Had to concentrate on university for a few weeks, and that was the death of my playthrough. I tried a couple of times to continue, but yeah I just see 10 quests in my quest log and have no clue what I was doing before.
The thing is, I could totally relearn it again - but I already know I’ll have to take a larger break again soon, so what’s the point if I have to then put a bunch of relearning time in again the next time I want to play…
Not to mention that the Steam overlay’s unreliable at best, so pulling out of a session to look up something that could easily’ve been standard issue is unfortunate. 🥲
