I personally think lots of the world’s problems could be solved if Hole in The Wall got revived.
There was this crappier robot wars knockoff I remember some of. It wasn’t the one with Ziggo and the name of the show was as bland as English cuisine. One “contestant” was a really shitty robot stylized to look like Elvis. What i can remember is that Elvis bot barely worked and seemed to be there only to be set on fire by a different more capable robot.
E: it was Robot Wars. The one with Ziggo.

The revived one from a few years ago with Dara O’Briain was pretty good - with so much more access to modern manufacturing some of the machines were ridiculous
That was the magic of the old one. You knew some a old lawnmower, some stuff from grandads shed and a bit of new things from the component shop and bang you could stand a chance, well at least us dreamers believed so
I think scrapheap is coming back under a different name with Rob and Colin Furze.
That will be interesting if Furze gets to make stuff

It already got rebooted but I would like Bullseye with the original prizes. People going home happy with £90, microwave, and a speed boat

Legends of the Hidden Temple was the coolest gameshow I saw when I was a kid. It was kind of like a mix of history trivia and American Gladiators physical challenges.
The winning team got a chance to go on a timed run through an Eliminator-like obstacle course that was themed like an abandoned Mayan Temple where’d they’d have to solve puzzles and navigate the various physical challenges to win a big prize.
That show was fire AF. They should really bring it back.

THE MOLE!
(Apparently there was a Netflix reboot?)
Anyway, it’s traitors but:
- No stupid drama, no affected “yourself”, no pretending that the show is the best thing since you discovered masturbation
- One traitor (aka the mole)
- Who stays is determined by a quiz where you have to answer questions like “which team was the mole on in X challenge”
- The mole is trying to sabotage every single challenge - so the team has actual good info to go on. Traitors is basically all gut feeling.
- The mole always aces the quiz, so you don’t need obvious producer manipulation to keep the game going
- Most significantly for the experience, the audience DOES NOT KNOW who the mole is! You have to work it out too! There are a number of extra clues that attentive viewers can pick up.
For all these reasons and more, traitors makes me unreasonable angry.
