    I had a man tell me the other day: “I don’t know if you’re a boy or a girl!”

      Checkbox implies that multiple options can be picked, radial button entails only one can be chosen. The latter could be appropriate for the question.

          Multiple, not listed. If the question of gender is part of a larger set of questions and not the focus the people that will be looking at the data might want simpler, easy to read data for that portion in which case having only one answer for the question per participant would be preferable. Of course we don’t know what the actual case is based on a meme, which is why I wrote “could be” appropriate instead of “is the only” appropriate option.

            You can get that from the information. Its possible to split the results into whether someome selected one or multiple options

            Of course, a comprehensive gender survey needs at least 15 more sliders
