My brain just can’t get around the fact that so much porn is non consensual, there’s a lot of human trafficking, and even the ones who do consent aren’t usually being paid well. And there’s not a very good way to sus out the more ethical to the less ethical porn. Also the second someone starts obviously faking things, it ruins everything for me so, reading it is just significantly easier for me.

It depends on my mental health. During certain periods, it’s every day. Other periods, nothing for a month or so. The worse my mental condition, the more I watch. Not that I pretend to know what the “real” or “correct” way to watch porn is, but I only ever use it as a coping mechanism. It helps me escape reality for a few minutes. Recently, I have begun trying to limit my consumption, because I don’t really want to escape reality. As of today, I haven’t watched anything for about two weeks.
