My job is 45 miles away from my home. Live on a farm work in a city. I like my job and I like my farm. Also, are busses and carpool vans immune to potholes?
I bring 3 big bags (backpack, gym bag and big cooler) with me to work lmao. 1 clothes/towel/toiletries, 1 tools/computer and 1 food. I work 12s or 18s and shower on site. Mechanical engineer at a power plant. Exclusively public transit for me would be a nightmare.
is the top not the simplest incentive to get people to use public transit?
Public transit basically doesn’t exist in the US outside of metropolitan areas lol
yes, and that needs to change.
Can’t even get Internet and power cables buried and maintained, good luck with masstransit in rural areas.

Trains are immune to potholes.
I’d still be driving to the train station and then need a ride from the other to work. Unless we put a stop at my front door and my work’s.
The American mind can’t comprehend a bicycle.

Too bad there are like 10 trains total in America
they really aren’t, ok maybe I’m thinking of boulder induced potholes
