Uhh! I have been wanting to try snaps for a very long time now! And today my nurge snaps finally arrived!

I’m so excited to try them out, but all my projects have been started in hand, so due to tension I don’t want to snap them up now…

So I have to have a new start, but it suddenly seems scary to start my planed 300x300 convert of an image 😅

If they lost tension easily it might have been the cheep ones.

The brand Q-snap should be really nice, but for reasons that was not a option for me at the moment. So I was so excited when Nurge started to make them.

So far I have only tried the small one, but I mostly like it.

I feel like its so often a problem with those big stores, they need to cater to so many different crafts that they only have the cheep stuff. So the only usefull thing they have is DMC.

Which is actually also a problem with my local needle shop… they only carry DMC fabric and I prefer Zweitgart.

I always get DMC for everything I’ve never tried Zweitgart! I’ll have to try it! I’ll probably have to order it online lol

The first ever DMC Aida I got, the squares were taller than they were wide. So I have sworn to zweigart since. But if that haven’t happened to you, then that’s great, but trying new things is also kinda exciting!

The first aida I ever got was Loops and Threads from Michael’s and the fabric was so weak and thin that when I would secure a stitch it would go right through into the next square… Their floss was almost unusable too lol it’s been DMC for everything since then!

I’m amazed you keept up with the hobby after that! I would probably have given up, if that was my first experience

But I also love DMC floss!
