It’s been interesting to watch the rise of essentially professional debaters debating with unknowledgeable randoms. I’ve seen it politically both ways. It would be nice to see a proper debate format, aka 5 minutes opening statements, 15 minutes main argument, 15 minutes rebuttal, and 5 minutes closing statements between two knowledge debaters on opposite sides of the political spectrum. It wouldn’t be rage bait clippy algorithm inducing content but it would be a lot more intriguing.
