What an absurd thing to say in a world where individuals have the wealth of thousands, tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of millionaires. Good ol’ Fortune spinning the generational conflict to prevent class war. Ma and Pa down at the old folks home pinching what pennies they have are not the ones creating a wealth hoarding problem. They are responding reasonably to a system that would watch them die in the streets while simultaneously not allowing them to choose the time of their own death.
You’re right and I’m glad you’re pointing this out. That said…
Boomers are still selfish assholes who won’t get out of the way and release their positions in government office and owning multiple properties that they bought for a song while voting against housing initiatives that would “change the character” of their neighborhoods while young people face increasing costs of living. The rich, plus the selfish.

Sorry, I don’t judge entire groups based on the behavior of a few. I know, it’s weird, but I didn’t do it when it was hip to judge people by skin tone and I’m not doing it now that it’s all the rage to use the super-duper scientific method of what year someone was born.
