I mean other than completely and utterly destroying the environment maybe stop fucking eating them?
It is 100% possible to sustainably farm oysters. The environmental angle is the more serious long-term issue.
Japan is a mountainous country with very little farming. It’s not a coincidence their diet heavily features seafood.
