White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller railed against a Saturday ruling that temporarily blocked President Trump’s attempts to deploy 200 National Guard soldiers to Portland, Ore.

“Legal insurrection. The President is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, not an Oregon judge … ,” Miller, an architect of many Trump administration immigration policies, wrote in a Saturday statement on the social platform X.

He accused local law enforcement of failing to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers facing “relentless terrorist assault.”

“This is an organized terrorist attack on the federal government and its officers, and the deployment of troops is an absolute necessity to defend our personnel, our laws, our government, public order and the Republic itself,” he added in the weekend post.

Hours prior, U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, said there was ultimately no need for troops in Portland, siding with the state’s argument that the president’s attempt to deploy soldiers was “based largely on a fictional narrative” about public safety in the city.

In her Saturday ruling, Immergut agreed that the president is “certainly entitled” to a great level of deference but said that is not equivalent to “ignoring the facts on the ground.”

“The President’s determination was simply untethered to the facts,” the judge wrote.

In recent months, Trump has deployed soldiers to Los Angeles, Memphis and Washington, D.C., and said boots would soon be on the ground in Chicago — all of which are Democratic-led cities.

Local elected officials have urged the president not to do so, citing increased fear and protest outbreaks.

In late September, Oregon officials filed a lawsuit seeking to block the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops in Portland. Immergut then issued a temporary restraining order on Saturday, which is set to expire in 14 days.

The block could be extended ahead of the trial date scheduled for Oct. 29.

It has to be. “The masses will more readily believe in a great life than a small one” (or something like that).

Oh he’s a true Drama Queen. He fancies himself a Hitler-style orator, and every time he tries it, it’s hilarious.

Here he is trying to give a pep talk to the Memphis Police force, and he just comes off like a blustering weenie. I especially love his passage near the end about how much more ruthless and hard-core they are, when we all know that if he took one punch to the face, he’d drop like a sack of potatoes, and start crying and begging for mercy.

Did you see this little weenus doing his bitch-ass tough guy routine on the school bus? The guy looks like he was 35 back in high school? Also, not sure if he was doing a Dracula impression or what, but it seems like a blood sucking vampire is at least his spirit-animal.

Well, it’s one of their problems. It’s a problem that sometimes works to our advantage given one of their other problems–being evil (i.e., a lack of empathy, selfish-ness, and inflated sense of self).

It’s probably true that Trump doesn’t understand the constitutional limits on his power to use the military domestically. Stephen Miller, on the other hand has a degree in political science from Duke; he almost certainly knows what the limits are and seeks to expand them to serve his political agenda.

He can’t “expand” the limits, that takes Congress and legislation. If he “expands” those limits by stepping beyond them, he is violating the law, and Trump’s alleged Immunity Superpowers do not extend to PeeWee Himmler.

Miller isn’t giving orders here; he’s commenting on a court ruling. He would like the appeals court to rule differently, and he would like the MAGA base to be angry at the judge.

Miller is the kind of guy that, if all this is allowed to take its course, will end up being “granted the courtesy” of shooting himself in the head within five years.

Insert “Everything I don’t like is an insurrection” book jpg here.

Also, these dipshits will call everything BUT the actual J6 insurrection (terrorism) an “insurrection”.

So an escalator that stops because someone from the WH accidentally hit a button and The Annoying Orange was temporarily inconvenienced for about 10 seconds is an “insurrection”. The guy that brags that he doesn’t need a teleprompter - because the racist jagoffs, for eight years, made a big deal about the Blah guy using one - suddenly has an issue with a teleprompter that he supposedly doesn’t really need, still has major butthurt over it, and that is an “insurrection”.

Shut up you absolute fucking donkey.

This admin is evil. Well, evil is not a severe enough word for their level of filth, greed, and lack of morals or any semblance of the traits we call human.

I’m not saying their subhuman, their human like the rest of us. They’re just irredeemably broken and rotten to the core.

If we are to ever become an enlightened species, it’s important to understand that this, too, is part of humanity. Humans commit terrible atrocities, and it’s in our nature to do so. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely,” and all that. How can we overcome this as a species and become the caretakers our planet needs? I think the theory behind capitalism was to say “greed is good” and try to make a system that was fair. Spoiler alert, it didn’t work. Maybe we need a new capitalism-like idea that looks at humanity’s attributes and tendencies and tries to incorporate them into a Good Thing somehow. Definitely what we’re doing today across the board isn’t working.
