I drove the family CX-3 out just now, god the car behaves so funny there’s zero steering feel and a ton of slack. Idk if there’s anything wrong with it, even my old 2004 Vios had better feel.
When turning into a corner it will also torque steer when I apply throttle. It’s like something is dragging the steering. Wasn’t even driving fast just regular speed at like 2k rpm… It’s so serious the car will snap almost everytime I turn… i have driven a ton of FWDs from old to new nothing ever behaves like this.
Does it need alignment? I tried to test and the car was able to stay center when I release the steering.

Is it due to electric power steering? I think 2004 Vios was still using hydraulic PSJust saw that you “have driven a ton of FWDs from old to new nothing ever behaves like this.” So it’s not a Vios VS CX-3 problem then.
Deffo sth ain’t right but I don’t want to spend money to do alignment without knowing for certain that it’s an alignment issue
