Four people were killed and 14 others wounded in a mass shooting Wednesday night in Chicago, police said.

The carnage erupted in the River North neighborhood, on the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue, when a vehicle pulled up to a location and at least one gunman opened fire on a crowd standing outside, Chicago police said.

The vehicle fled the scene immediately and no one has been taken into custody, police said.

One of the crime scene cleanup photos shows a prominent pride flag in the window of the establishment, and the venue’s website says “Proudly Black-, Brown-, Queer-, and Women-owned.”

Could that have been the motivation for the attack?

Nah it was rap beef. Allegedly the people killed were the boyfriend and friends of Mello Buckzz. Mello Buckzz album release party was being held at Artis. I’m assuming the others were collateral damage

It has been my experience that attacks by extremists typically are accompanied by some sort of statement. In this case, the perpetrator simply fled. It’s just speculation at this point, but it sounds like this may be unrelated.

Israelis blowing up another hospital? Must be a day ending in the letter Y. They don’t leave a Manifesto every time they commit an act of Terror. For some groups their agenda is so out in the open they don’t feel the need.

This was a shooting in Chicago, not a bombing in Israel.

Did you reply to the correct comment?

Reading comprehension. Do you have it. It was an allusion to groups in power that use terror. Just because no one is claiming responsibility. Doesn’t mean it’s not terror.

Through it seems in this case it was likely a grudge.

Yeah, something bad happened? Israel did it!

This is not a realistic or helpful attitude

Israel is a relevant group employing terror. They generally don’t claim responsibility. Not advertising responsibility doesn’t stop something from being terrorist. Nowhere was it stated they were responsible.
