Okay, I gotta say something here.

For all of his failings, and there are many, the thing that embarrasses me most that he is president is how horrible he is at speech and writing. Like, motherfucker, you had access to the best education you could get over the last seventy years, and you couldn’t be bothered to take a fucking class or two and write shit like this? My fucking twelve year old niece is better than that

He was given an education, and the information bounced off of his brain like bullets off superman. His professors have said that he was profoundly stupid.

He’s literally admitted he hasn’t matured past the age of six.

Besides, why would he even want to learn when he just gets everything he wants?

The thing is, he hasn’t had to be anything other than what he is. He’s experienced no real consequences to any of his shitty behavior. He’s skated by, even been propped up, on his brash incompetence.

I read somewhere about that and the theory was that this is intentional, a big chunk of his base are functionally illiterate and talking like this makes him just understandable. Add to this the fact that speaking like this makes him sound very nonpatronizing. Finally it’s good marketing, it’s the same thing Ben Shapiro does in his annoying argument voice. Now that I think about it even Obama has a very easily distinguishable way of speaking.

All that to say, it is a conscious choice imo.

Telling people to “give up hopes” is just a terrible word choice, even if the thing you’re asking them to give up is solidly distasteful.

So many more positively phrased options-- “commit to peaceful nuclear programs”, for example. We got a real wordsmith in here, boys. Better keep Smith AND Corona lubed up and ready.

what, it’s not “diplomatic” to use phrases reminiscent of what’s inscribed on the gates of hell?

I was gonna say, this mother fucker literally pulled out of the deal that was working to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons in the first place. This would be like if I came home drunk and shit the bed, then held a family meeting saying I am instructing everyone in the house to work towards an end to shitting in the beds.

The CIA didn’t believe they were pursuing nukes last October and thought they could step in and stop them if they were.

This all has been Israel (and Saudi) wanting to smack Iran. Once Syria was out of the picture, Iran was next on the queue.

Why do they point out that it was 4 hours ago? Did he tweet truth lie it after the attacks started? That would be …what’s the word… sanctimonious
