Because we now have more than adequate evidence that just voting on our own isn’t enough. We need to be putting our energy into local organizing and canvassing (believe me, I have no idea how I’m going to make room for that in my life either), and doing everything we can to get everyone we know who ISN’T a racist, unempathetic bigot to vote.
