10 months agoTo me, the answer is sort of a yes. I still need my phone for work. I can substitute it with a tablet or laptop, but I might as well just use my iPhone. I need to be available to respond to emails, word process, edit spreadsheets, etc. So, I usually just keep a small bluetooth keyboard in my work bag.
For my personal life, I was considering a Light Phone, but decided an Apple Watch Ultra made more sense, it’s only $5/month more and I can track my health with it. I still use my iPhone a lot more than I need to, but having the option to just leave it at home for mundane tasks is nice. I usually don’t bring my iPhone on walks, grocery store or coffee trips anymore unless I know I’m probably going to want to take photos.
I tried going back to my old S7 for a week, mainly as an experiment. I just couldn’t get used to the smaller size again from the Ultra.
