@Minetest@fosstodon.org I wanted to make a funny pic, but there was no wordmark logo for Luanti. Are you going to make it?

@tilvids@mstdn.social Was already clear that they won’t be holding an instance for building an understanding environment, but another boasting outlet. First of all, @mozilla@mozilla.social doesn’t even have ANYTHING to boast about, because they’ve ruined everything there was to ruin.
@textovervideo @kdenlive @kde Wow, that’s quite advanced. I didn’t think I was missing a 2nd dimension in Kdenlive animation, but now I might be!
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Pledges seem to be a trend as of recent.
Trying to break mbin on a deleted post, LOL @melroy

Yaaay, time to really push that SearX/alternative-search-engine crusade, because there is more reason for a user to say “fuck you” to the hungry machine.
@BeAware@social.beaware.live The main criticism seems to be that it’s a decade behind change, as search results already seem confused about #Minecraft and #Minetest, and #Luanti will have to fight a big fight to keep the link going anyway (I agree that it was one of the appealing qualities in marketing MT). I opine that it will take quite some time until voxel gamers pick this up: such is my hope with video creators, writers and gamedevs.
It’s only a name change, barely anybody would now say: “Haha, bye Minecraft, you were never a part of Luanti’s legacy.” - because it’s factually wrong, and gamers will keep mentioning how Minecraft-esque the game ended up being. But, at the same time, there is now a stark contrast to Mineclonia and all that jazz…
