1 year agoI would check the terminals, make sure they are clean and tight. All of that jumper cable on/off may have loosened the connections.
It would be cheaper to just buy them a little battery jumper.

You’ll probably have to check with a dealer. Timing belts can be a maintenance item.

If no one is going to pony up for an actual mechanic to take a look. On both cars, remove and clean the terminals and posts. Start there.
