I’m the third owner of my 2008 Sienna. Second owner kept records since 2013, and nowhere does it mention anything about suspension. The engine was swapped at 201k miles with a unit out of a 2010 with 110k miles. Lots of maintenance. No suspension.
I just swapped the struts and springs and boy did it make a difference, not just in ride quality but in height! New suspension gave that van a solid 1.5-2" lift (I didn’t measure, but it’s very obvious).
anything that people hasn’t built on generally belongs to the ‘crown’
That’s the equivalent of state/federal land.
Oooh, I forgot about Zabbix. I’ll have to give that a go again.
I’m still working on getting it all organized (physically and electrically), but throwing all the server hardware on its own VLAN isn’t a bad idea.
The occasional rattle doesn’t bother me.
The buzz at a very specific RPM and speed that can’t be replicated willingly is what bothers me.
Like others, I clicked the button to join the waitlist but was never asked for an email or anything.
Yes, it’s plenty. My own “most powerful” server runs on an i7-7700, and I’ve never seen it’s CPU usage spike above 20%.
Intel 14nm CPUs are still solid performers for secondary usage today, mostly because Intel stuck with that process for so long. Even their newest processors on the 10nm process is essentially just a die shrink version of the 14nm process, because that’s how Intel insists on working.
I’m going to put $5k of money that I don’t have onto a $56k car that I don’t need and surprise my wife with a $700/mo car payment.
