At this point, it’s just funny. Reddit Admins couldn’t have selected a better sub for this, it is almost art.

Can we build an interface for it? And call it a Snoos Button?
Your scammers were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should!
That’s why I didn’t install an app or put a shortcut on my home screen for lemmy or mastodon or the forums I started using again. While opening Firefox and opening a website isn’t a big task, it is enough to not do it out of a hobbit. Mental Health is way up, toilet entertainment way down. Well, time to find out what my shampoo is made of!
That’s my plan, too. Well, not for porn, but for other stuff that is - for now - hard to find outside reddit. And ONLY in a browser, and ONLY with old reddit.
I’m in the same boat. It was my go-to app, and at first, I was happy that it will stay open - but during the last few days, I realized more and more… I don’t care anymore. Not about relay, but about reddit itself.
I’ve uninstalled relay on sunday - and never missed it on my phone. I just stopped wasting time and did better things with my time. At this point in time, I can’t see myself putting out $2 a month just to get angry at ragebait again.
I have no idea how current Reddit actually looks like nor do I care as it was unusable.
Just for fun, I opened reddit in a fresh browser, without my settings and extensions etc. It was… shit. No other way to put it. 1/3 of the screen was used for content, the rest was some form of trying to feed you crypto stuff, advertisement or “hey you should rather watch this video than read text, you loser!”.
For now, I can, thanks to some plugins, bring new reddit to something that is close enough to old reddit to be usable. But if this is the way reddit is heading, I’m out, alternative site or not.
That’s the reason I’m hesitant to use a VPN for yt Premium from a cheap country. The lingering thought of losing my Gmail and android access…
