They might file a suit. They’ll never see that money again though. Not until we have a functioning government again, but by then we’ll have much bigger problems to solve than a bunch of idiots getting their money back.

2·3 months agoI want to switch to void so bad. It’s just that my machine is a laptop that I carry around with me all the time. I don’t feel safe doing that without encrypting it, and all I’ve gotten out of attempting to manually configure LUKS is hours of wasted time.

1·3 months agoI thought I’d finally found the perfect balance between minimal tinkering and the features I want with Noctalia Shell. Then I switched to a systemd-free distro and it doesn’t work any more. Back to .config I go.
I need something to engage my hands and eyes. If I want to just sit and listen to music, or an audiobook, or podcast I usually play Tetris. It’s a really low engagement task that keeps me from zoning out. Starting to get tired it though so I’m open to recommendations for similar games.

What is the context for this? Why does he keep making exceptions for South Africans specifically? Is this some kind of favor to shitheads like Musk and Thiel? Or is there some other factor I’m not aware of?
11·4 months agoNoctalia is another quickshell implementation that I’ve been using with Niri and I like it a lot.
I used to be a funeral director and I learned this in mortuary school. The application there was restorative art. Basically, the width of an eye is very close to the height of a nose, also the height of an ear. The whole face is just about three noses tall.
