Recently went back home to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving from Pennsylvania. Was shocked to see the number of non-Tesla EVs around. Especially the Mach E, EV 6, and a fair few premium models from Audi and Lucid. Yes, I know that’s a higher income area but they also invested in non-Tesla charging networks much earlier than the rest of the states (again benefits of the economic status of the region). That being said, I think when people realize there’s a strong non-Tesla charging network they can reliably use, they’ll enjoy the other brands. The Bay of course still has Teslas as ubiquitous today as Accords and Camrys were in the early 2000s.
