The Mastodon instance I’m on has blocked all known Meta IPs as a preventative measure. So I imagine some admins will federate and some won’t, and users will be free to join the instance that they wish to.
Tusky is my current preference, but have tried Megalodon, Mastodon and Fedilab. I couldn’t get with Fedilab, the font sizes in particular were never right.
It’s fine. They might smell a bit musty, so I’d wash them. Especially if your are going to donate.

Second this. My son loved these when he was that age, and still does. Portal 2 is maybe pushing it in terms of suitability, but not too bad. I generally stick to age ratings as a rule. Portal 1 plus the extra levels definitely.
I went to that particular shop every other week for a year and that was all I saw there before or since. If you have the time and can be bothered you might get lucky. But honestly, it’s a total chore! In terms of opportunity cost it’s probably cheaper to buy from eBay or CEX!
