This is what confuses me. The internet archive has been archive the entire Internet for years. Yet AI does the same to make a way for people to code easier and it is a problem all of the sudden?

There’s a difference between hating AI and calling out morons. This dude a moron, plain and simple. Even the dude who coined the phrase “context engineering” doesn’t think AI can produce good code without a human actually reading the code at some point in the process.

I do a lot of vibe coding, but even I know this is bullshit.

I believe the fediverse and the indieweb need to be more inextricably linked. Imagine if you clicked a user profile and instead of taking you to their profile on the site with generic stats and posts from the user, it took you to their home page, where they can post blog updates and customize their site/profile to their hearts content.

It may be made with AI, but I’m not sure you can call it slop. It is an adaptation from an old anime, and people seem to very clearly understand the meaning/intention.

I love a these angry anti-AI responses here, as if being vehemently against AI is the “default” or logical leftist position, and if you think otherwise, well you are not a real leftist.
