  • They’re trying to meet government efficiency standards by raising their average fleet MPG. Cars like the Tundra, Supra, and Sequoia hurt their average so they bring out hybrids like the Camry, Sienna, Venza, etc. to even it out. Same reason why Chrysler has had to make the Charger electric and get rid of the Hellcat engine.



  • The videos online are of pre-production models, which are always missing stuff like the hinge arm covers. The fit and finish is also usually not the best on those either as it’s technically a prototype. I remember when they introduced the 2023 Corolla hybrid SE, the model all the reviewers got to see had a single exhaust pipe straight from a Prius. The production model, however, has the dual tip chrome exhaust. The arm covers will most likely be on the production model.
