I think its fair to consider ‘reddit’ to be /r/all mainstream reddit; it is the defacto front page of the news for liberal media on the internet. Place is a shithole.
I would go as far to say that /r/all today resembles what /pol/ used to look like a decade ago; on a long enough timeline I think reddit will degenerate into neu-pol consiaprcy ran liberal mind parasites where its just feds trying to egg on mentally ill teenagers to shoot minorities.
I do wish more was known/easy to digest about how different states within China feel about this, because I know it varies wildily; You have areas in China that have never been anti-LGBT and have had open & visible trans people within them for decades as well as trans clinics to support them and social attitudes that tolerate and accept them.
And you also get very reactionary states within China that dont; but that nuance is lost on a lot of people, it would be interesting to understand the variance.

It can have issues though, like if something needs passed quickly and needs to not go through 3-4 layers of government; Its stable but it makes social change happen at a really slow pace, which can in itself be detrimental (think of LGBT comrades in China or drug users)

I read the whole thing and while its cringe and I support the message of peace; I would also like to see if the claims the author are transphobic hold any weight as the allegations where mentioned but not the content, or response/them denying they are transphobic.
Edit: I think the critic probably has a point, we dont need to be allying with shitrags that push TERF ideology.
The message behind the author (peace with ukraine) is free of TERFism and bullshit but also, be more carefull with what platform you use, we dont need to ally with transphobic media outlets that get less than a thousand views on youtube.

My ideal for art and compensation would involve de-rockstaring all art and emphasizing the value of local art. I would want everyone to be an artist and I would give people more hours in the week to do art than to do work.
Edit: If you can imagine how right now we work 9-5 monday to friday, I would organize society with soft and structural incentives so that one would have organized community art projects happening 1/3rd of the day, centrazlied labour 1/3rd, free time 1/3rd with the organized community art projects being large scale local/state projects that workshop all kinds of art, sport would also be a viable choice.
All barriers to entry would be nill and it would demystify all art and produce works of beauty I bet, I think it should be a fundemental part of any society as it is such a huge part of the human expeirence, sometimes I think that reality is just a way for aliens outside our existance to generate art for there enjoyment, lets feed the machine.
