You could, but that info was still there. Schools and educational material taught us that blood was blue, Columbus discovered America, and animals were hot or cold blooded.

6·14 days agoIf we have a pair of aluminum straits and fire tankers at them, without observation you’ll find that the tankers will both get tolled on the left strait AND get stuck halfway through the right strait, preventing any other tankers from getting through.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•When Windows users find the Threadiverse
19·21 days agoAs a nearly sole Linux user, this is a strength for Linux. The ability to complain about features and push for improvements is exactly what sets it apart from having to submit to profit motivations. Maybe they’re misguided, but I’d rather embrace it and chance at growing the community.
May I introduce you to the world of soft robotics 😏

5·1 month agoOne of the biggest feautures missing for professionals is CMYK color space. There are some workarounds found, but it’s not at the same level of Adobe and certainly not built for it.
I switched to FOSS everything and I still miss a lot of stuff even if I’ll never touch Adobe again. Everything is so much harder to use and that was a sacrifice I chose to make for the sake of software freedom

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is a good alternative to move away from Github?
6·1 month agoYet another Gitea self-hoster here. It mimics GitHub behavior so well that it’s pretty much directly compatible with GitHub Actions and everything. It has a tool built just for mass migrating repositories.

1·1 month agoI definitely recommend nix. In fact, I prototyped my NixOS server in a VM and then committed my config to a git repository to clone on the real server later

I’m pretty sure this is just D.va lol
