There are some things in the guide which I now know aren’t best practice but it got me up and running and taught me a lot along the way.

Interested in this too. I really don’t understand the gatekeeping here, particularly by one individual. It’s common knowledge that reddit search is lacking. The whole point of subreddits is discussion, looking for personal opinions etc.
