@SomeGadgetGuy@techhub.social I loved the first Duo and was looking forward to purchasing the next iteration. But when I saw the rear camera I was so disappointed.

I know so many influencers didn’t like the camera and software was buggy for many a month but we all saw the potential.

It was a new form device that wasn’t meant to compete with the flagship devices in the market.

Clean software with some useful features (i.e the chop-chop for 🔦 and other camera tricks) Not to mention Moto X customisable back plates.

My mum loved her Moto G series back in the day.

I so wish we still had Moto, HTC, HMD Global (Nokia), LG competing for these price ranges along with Nothing, OnePlus and A series from Samsung and Pixel.

I initially thought about comparing them to PC builders because most opt for laptops or Pre-Builts or All-In Ones

But the market is similar to that of HEDTs

As a fan of Fold devices, the only reason I don’t have one is the price. It should cost in parity with the current Ultras, Pro Maxs and Pro XLs. (and I say this who primarily uses “A” devices and finds even the base flagships too expensive)

The best comparison considering the Market Share would be the that with Linux.

Same enthusiastic ideologies but don’t have the populous momentum

I am still not sold on the Flip versions tho. ;)
