Yes how are people struggling with; killing is abuse, animal abuse is evil, therefore I should not buy products sourced from animals

Catching animals is the opposite of peaceful

Compassion and empathy do not rely on someone else’s value to you, so instead of having “compassion” for bugs only because they serve a purpose in the ecosystem you rely on you, think about how they are living their life and having their own unique experience of the world, the same way your friends do.
Asking other leftists to implement their anti oppression views in their daily life: you’re a lib actually
Corporations aren’t just killing animals because it’s fun. They do it because you pay them for it.
You want global coordination but you don’t want to be part of the change?
It’s very easy to blame things caused by big corporations but a quarter of all emissions come from you eating meat which is your choice and you can stop doing that.

Reminder that “The failure rate for the translation of drugs from animal testing to human treatments remains at over 92%” - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36883244/
Animal testing is cruel and it doesn’t even result in anything useful in practically all cases. Articles like the one OP posted are just here to boost the acceptance of animal testing because “look we are really inventing something and not just torturing millions of animals for no reason” however the statistics don’t lie.

Don’t eat corpses
Yet most humans support putting animals in death camps by buying animal derived products.

If you’re offended by Russians killing an animal, use that as fuel to stop killing animals yourself too and go vegan :)

In my country they are both 22% but either way, reducing your car trips doesn’t give you the right to kill innocent animals.

Those are not mutually exclusive

Farmers (and by extension the people who pay them) are exploiting animals.
I don’t think I used the term brainwashed in my comments so not sure why you’re attacking me for that, but if you are really continuing to harm animals only because someone used a word you don’t like that’s cause for some introspection.

Downplaying the ethical view that exploiting others is wrong and should be avoided as a “dietary preference” comes off as a little disingenuous.

Being human, the humane one, the one who sees themselves in others? There is nothing more human than being humane to animals and abstaining from exploiting them.

This but with veganism lol

I was just frustrated with this depiction of the magical billionaire that just can’t change. Of course they can change. Give them a reason to.

Epstein class of political operators and oligarchs cannot exist in a consentual world, so how could they possibly understand the concept of consent when it comes to children? For them, everyone is an object through which they express their power. Consent is a function of agency, and objects can’t have agency. So they can’t possibly comprehend the existence consent or understand how it works.
Of course they can, they just don’t care. The same way (You) can understand an animal is not an object while simultaneously abusing your power over them and causing them to be put in camps, gas chambers and other slaughterhouses. Because (You) don’t care.
Yes, but the post is about veganism, which is the ethical principle that it’s wrong to exploit animals. Cows enslaved for milk are in most cases worse off than those enslaved for their flesh as they are repeatedly impregnated, have their children killed, and are still slaughtered at a fraction of their lifespan just like the flesh cows.
