The engine in my Prius only runs about 50% of the time so a 10k interval is basically a 5k running mile interval (with no idling either). I’ve heard the argument that the start/stop produces more wear, but the reality is the computer stops the cylinders at a specific point in its travel so that the engine restarts smoothly. I believe with synthetic oils and such technology, a 10k interval is reasonable.

Most of this sub wants vehicle to grid or vehicle to home in every vehicle. But as soon as it involves Toyota, it has to be spun as a sinister move.
