A study that actually makes sense! One test that you can specifically study for has less correlation with college success than the day-in, day-out grind of actual study. SAT and ACT should be the least level of importance for college acceptance.
Lover of cozy mysteries, historic home restorations, gardens, cats, dogs, smart homes, and American football. A little coffee doesn’t hurt either.

So you’ve never been in a union that fights for workers to get better pay, reasonable hours, and decent healthcare? I’ve had unions at two jobs and they fought hard to make sure workers were treated fairly. Football players have a union. Many service workers have a union. Unions are not a bad thing.
There is nothing wrong with police dogs. Officers assigned to handle the dogs can be problematic though, if they don’t have the discipline to put their prejudices aside.
That is the union’s job. Just like defense attorneys fight against guilty verdicts for even blatant murderers, the union is representing a union member.
I live in a desert (Southwest USA), and gravel/rock yards are everywhere. The biggest issue I have with my desert landscaping is that the rock surface is very unstable, which makes it difficult to walk on for my elderly mom. We switched to the smallest “chat” rocks, which are easier to walk on but get caught in our shoes and dragged into the house to scratch floors and hurt bare feet.
Better than cement, not as good as a permeable surface such as compacted decomposed granite or ground cover plants. I miss having at least a small plot of lawn that can be walked on, but can live without it. What the desert needs most, though, are more trees to shade surfaces. We have acres of concrete and asphalt, which contribute way more to the heat than rock landscapes.
I had to check this out and found the categories under the hamburger menu. Anyone else find it funny that r/teenagers is showing as a community under Animals and Pets?
I find it stunning that they’ve decided to go ahead with this. Why the need for a 2023 r/Place when there was 5 years between the first and second? What the hell?
That was a nightmare read. I would have taken one look at that mirror and told the rental company I need a different car.
Any idea why he is so anxious? It’s great that you found a solution, but he would probably enjoy all the sniffs if he was able to get over the fear and walk.
My boy has that constant worried look, too. It’s tough being a dog, I guess.
He seems worried, like someone has taken his cake. 😟
Come on. You’ve never had Fersh Juice before?!? So much better than that fresh stuff.
Have you checked out Vacuum Wars? https://www.vacuumwars.com. He does really thorough testing and reviews for vacuums. I used him when I was looking to purchase a robot vacuum, but he covers uprights and cordless, also.
A bit of cherry picking there
