3·3 days agoThis is a good insight that has wide application. For example in the context of investing: every portfolio is always fully invested, even 100% cash which runs the risk of not meeting the investor’s goals.
However it’s not always true in all contexts. For example in formal games, there may be a no-risk path to victory for you, where every move can be dominant. In this sense there is no risk in taking those dominant moves to win the game.

The only reason they are not shooting Democrats in the streets is because they don’t need to. The regime is consolidating power while Democrats go to work, producing wealth that the regime can steal, it’s a win/win. The media on the left is a couple of years behind the right at this point. While the right acknowledges “we are at war”, the left is still trying to make peace while their position is eroded daily. The war has already started and the regime is winning.
This is exactly why I can only laugh and shake my head at the everyday fascists like Connor Estelle who think they will always be in the in-group. Fascism eats society from the outside in until there is nothing left.
It doesn’t matter any more what the Supreme Court has previously ruled. Speech is protected if it supports the regime and not protected otherwise. Things are moving quickly now.
