Between those two, the i5. I hate the way the iX’s doors close and not a fan of the steering wheel.

As a former owner of an F30 335i, I can recall the absolute hatred of the “tacked on tablet” on the dash.
It’s almost as if different people like different things.
I like both versions. I like widgets in ID8. Being able to quickly see potential delays around me in this area is always helpful for me.
iDrive7 is nice too.
BMW makes some of the best infotainment systems in the biz, especially if it’s combined with their HUD.
I wish both versions had more customizable gauges….thats kinda the whole upside of having screens.
Audi pulls the customization a bit better IMO.
Ironically I’d love a view that’s a throw back to the amber gauges but with a customizable center between the two gauges.
The 2 Series coupe was considered a worthy successor to the 1 Series.
I like it. Debating getting one as a fun weekend car.
I believe the G30s use LTE.
I’ll just say “Hey BMW take me home” sometimes.
But even that’s rare since by default if I’m not at home the iDrive screen has an icon that says “Home” that I can just tap and it’ll automatically start routing me home.
