I know how to rent a place and we did look at an apartment for him but it was $100 more unfurnished. Also, these are kids right out of high school, so college freshman. Not like I would help pay for my junior college kids rent.
This is us right now. My kid is going to a junior college out of state to play lacrosse. They have no dorms and need to rent apartments. He has 3 other people living with and each pays 929 in rent. That includes utilities and is furnished. Oh and this is only a 2 bedroom apartment.
Candyman, thought of a dark bathroom still scares me.
I may try Thunderbird again. Only thing I do not like about the screenshots is the far left toolbar, but I will still check it out.
Grateful Dead. Sure we have Dead & Co. but they are no Grateful Dead.
As much as I love z-library, libgen or Anna’s Archive they are coming through for me for my kids books. Subjects like HVAC or construction or not showing up. Thanks for the IRC tip.
I will argue from experience that Homeassistant runs pretty damn good on a pi using an SSD. They have an image specifically for HA as well.
All the tiny micro server content is great from sth.
I’m fairly new to homelab and not sure what you mean by stack. Is that a separate node in proxmox with docker installed and then the containers or is it another server with the apps installed on it?

I found jellyfin easier to setup then plex and the dashboard is much nicer. I also love the quick connect option when logging into new devices.
Is this a real concern? I guess I have never thought it was a possibility.
I use jellyfin on local network because I do not trust my abilities to set it up and keep it secure for a remote connection.
I like Anna’s Archive and libgen.
I am like you. But mine is more of, if I type it out that is good enough for me and I will move on to the next post feeling satisfied.
