Maybe the dumbest possible idea here from government regulators. You think you’re going to somehow legislate certain geometry out of existence? “Sorry, you can’t print that ILLEGAL SHAPE with the printer you own!” Same vacant headed assholes that think they can ban encryption. Fuck off, shrivel up and perish, please.
I was surprised by how well Garuda KDE just… Works. Many users warned me to stay away from the smaller distros like Garuda but I’ve had zero issues after 6+ months of everyday use on 2 devices.
Made a living doing VO for several years before AI ate most of the market. Basically you just work under contracts and hope for the best. If your client breaks contract maybe you can sue if you have the resources. I’ve sent a few C&D’s that successfully stopped some people from using my voice commercially after having paid me a non-profit rate. The majority of the time, the contract is enough to keep clients in line.
Where might I find more of this sort of thing please?
I remember instances where the force required to disconnect the connector caused me to slip and rip a wire out.
For those who don’t care to read the full article
Or even the whole title, really
Extend, Embrace, Extinguish?
What’s the singular, then?
Drywall powder. Anything cheap, white, and powdered! Street coke in the US in 2024 is less than 50% pure.
This is not the brat summer I’ve been hearing about, I assume?
Anything to make the line go up. Nothing else matters. This applies across all industries in the US.
Honestly, fuck this assertion that you can somehow infer a person’s motivations and morals from what kind of pet companion they prefer. I’ve legit seen it argued that if you like dogs and don’t like cats, you’re “probably a rapist” because you “can’t understand consent.”
I enjoy cats. I don’t prefer to own one. Am I a monster because of this? How about, I just love my dog?
Nahh, an article can present a point of view we deem to be “correct” while still engaging in clickbait and sensationalism. I’m not interested in clickbait or sensationalism, so I find that my filtering methods do a pretty good job of getting rid of most of the trash.
That too, I can’t believe some of my friends bar tabs. Who drops a couple hundred bucks a night in this economy? Many people, that’s who.
Water because I’m a raging alcoholic
Might just be the app I use, idk.
Switched to this a couple weeks ago. I’m used to swipe typing on gboard. Unfortunately the swipe typing on FUTO is nowhere near useable for me yet. The accuracy is horrendous, and much of the time it just gives up on inputting any word at all.
Unfortunately swiping on Gboard has been my main method of typing for more than a decade. I’m so accustomed to it that I can type full sentences without even looking at my phone.
So in an effort to improve my privacy (by discontinuing my use of a piece of keylogging spyware as a keyboard) I’ve sacrificed the speed of swipe typing. Everything takes much longer to type now. Worth it? I guess I’ll keep trying for a month or so and decide then.
Glad you posted this, it reminded me to update my Lemmy content filter! Up to now, I’ve just filtered out any headline including the word “slam, slammed, or slams.” Because those headlines are garbage. Now I’ve remembered I need to add the word “blast, blasted, and blasts,” because those are garbage too. Thanks!!
