  • So? Is there a problem? It isn’t a state run web site.

Members of UPA and other organisations were our heroes, that fought against ukrainian enemies before, during ww2 and immediately after, they weren’t nazis as right-wing polish politicians and r*ssians like to portray them.

We don’t mention that pilsudsky was an imperialist that implemented pacification of Ukraine, we don’t belittle polish heroes and statesemen, we don’t mention forced polonisation.

Polish politicians love their 100 000 people killed by UPA narrative, which is factually wrong, what they don’t love is to mention how polish people killed ukrainians on the same territory that they occupied for barely 20 years. Maybe it would be better not to mention that part of their and our history and move on. Grudges go both ways and they are deeper on our side.

Also ‘criminal ideology of Banderism’ must be literally r*ssian guidebook wording, Bandera was an extremely dull writer and ideologue tbh, and there is nothing in his writings that is criminal.

  • It’s genuine, they aren’t recruitment officers. As in there is recruitment programs and there is conscription, conscription offices have a lot of problems with both ethics and effectivness.

Conscription offices have a system of “conscript as many people as possible or it isn’t important if you are breaking the law while doing it”.

They often conscript people without proper procedure and there are multiple but localised incidents of using force when they don’t really have authority. Which in turn makes it a burden for armed forces to move people to their unit only to find out that conscripted aren’t fit for duty and they need to expend limited resources again to move these people back. There is a long going campaign of recruitment and modernisation of conscription offices.

You don’t want to be in a tank (or any armor really) when facing not even a swarm but 3-5 drones. There are stories about how this or that armorered vehicle survived 10 (ten TEN!!) FPVs, but they are just emblematic. Vehicles that can survive multiple drones are extremely rare.

Manned platforms have their place (obviously) but right now they are in extreme disadvantage and there aren’t any universal and effective way to defend against cheap drones.

Turing machine isn’t a ‘conventional computer’ in any way it’s a model not asomething that can be implemented as described. Philosophical weight has little value anywhere. Author tried to reframe increasingly cultish bullshit that ‘ai’ crowd loves to push.
