19·4 months agoI mean, moving the whole solar system just makes sense at a certain level of energy expenditure - if you are already generating enough power to do interstellar travel, might as well take the whole house with you. Sucks if you live here and don’t like the new travel direction of the system though, I guess. Find a new solar system to live in at that point?

161·1 year agoThe linux evangelist knows the percentage of
linux mintat all times. They know this because they know what the percentage isn’t. By subtracting the percentage oflinux mintfromnot linux mint, or where it isn’tlinux mintfrom where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The disto choosing subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the linux evangelist from an operating system where it is to an operating system where it isn’t, and arriving at a operating system where it wasn’t, it now is. Consequently, the operating system where it is, is now the operating system that it wasn’t, and it follows that the operating system that it was, is now the operating system that it isn’t.

5·1 year agoAre you able to check the logs at all?
This may be totally off base but: I recently had some issues with the intel networking adapter on one of my Dell Optiplexes. Still not sure specifically why, but when it was at high load (including during one backup), it was crashing. I found Intel e1000 errors on the host and was able to follow these instructions which seemed to resolve the host become unavailable:

8·1 year agoYeah. Arctic Elephant in the room, a polar bear can keep you tied up for hours with droll stories about their latest dumb north pole vacation. No cares, Klaus! It’s always just ice and snow and seal flesh and ‘it was a cool time’! No one cares if you ‘almost’ ate a scientist, again.
