Neither. Civic or 3 does everything better than those tiny crossovers. If you must go for small crossover at least go up to the CX-30

Looks fairly similar inside to the Atto 3 which has been out for a while.
Personally after spending a bunch of time in the Model 3, Atto 3 and Polestar 2 I think I prefer the BYD - it’s a good middle ground between the cave-like Polestar and overly minimalistic Tesla. There are definitely still some software quirks though and gimmicks though.
AU Falcon had a weird grille, AU2 went back to something normal looking
Unfortunately it took another generation to get rid of the weird shaped Taurus inspired windscreen
5 is an older model station wagon. It isn’t on a dedicated EV platform like the newer 4, and only uses the MG brand outside of China.
The cluster is saying the car is roughly half charged (6/12 of the longer bars) and the battery is at about half of its original health (6/12 shorter bars). You can get more precise readings with an ODB reader and Leafspy.
The bars on the left hand side are battery temperature - 5 bars there means the battery is at a good temperature (I see a noticeable drop in range when there are four or fewer temperature bars showing)
I just clicked on a few Konas and Ioniqs and they all said ‘SoH certificate available soon/on request’
Outside of Tesla (where even the basic models are quite powerful) I don’t think this is universally true. Something like a base id.4 or Ioniq 5 isn’t exactly a rocket ship, and some of the Chinese city models like the base BYD Dolphin are downright slow
CX-3 ain’t completely dead yet, it’s still available in Japan and Australia/NZ
Personally i don’t see the point, the 2 and 3 hatches are better vehicles all around
Mazda (and Subaru) are going to end up as part of Toyota before too long (not just collaborating like they presently do) so it’s not a surprising stance IMO
