Kindle fires can be found on sale for under $200. Autosync app works great. Lots of good apps to read comics. No reason to mess with linux. Plus it is easy enough to install the Play Store.

10·10 months agoOver the years I have tried most mainstream distros. I have never seen a reason to use anything other than Debian. Never had it break due to upgrading, I have never tried Nix, Alpine, Gentoo, or Slackware, not many other others I haven’t tried since I started using Linux in 2000.
wow that is crazy. my bill for December was $77 in the US.
