I agree with your point; nothing in the comment I responded to made anything close to or even alluded to your point.
Just look at their “clarifying” response to my comment.
“Congress shall make no law…”
The press is protected from the government.
It doesn’t have a thing to do with protecting employees of the press form the press
This has nothing to do with the first amendment.
They didn’t ban me; I banned them…
Not OP - just pointing out more…curiosities…I found in the pan. Also, I think it’s bucatini and maybe some sort of cheese sauce 🥴
Corn, ketchup, and kidney beans?!
…to impress Jodie Foster.
Excuse me sir; this is /c/mildlyinfuriating not /c/infuriatingsolutions
Yeah - I didn’t mean to imply all banks were doing this now. Just my credit union in particular.
I would love to just use my debit card instead but I don’t get the same level of protection nor cash back on spending from my debit card.
Yes. Exact same question.
I do not have a criminal mind…
So where does the clampdown on anti-genocide speech land wrt this?
Thr UK has the same thing as America
Do they? I wasn’t actually sure. I thought the government was cracking down on anti-genocide speech.
On the one hand this is how it’s supposed to work. Free speech as a legal concept in the U.S. only protects you from the government…
…on the other hand it would be really helpful if there were a list of companies that were firing folks for being critical of Charlie Kirk…
…you know…for reasons…
TBH - that’s exactly why I added the quote when I posted the article. But I still think it’s fucked up with the full context; just not as fucked up.
I think a good shitpost should get a decent number of downvotes. I don’t take any issue with that. But removing a post that doesn’t break any rules just because you dont like it…especially in a shitposting community feels like a step too far.
Not sure if you’re joking or not. My bean post was deleted by a mod for “Not this shit again”.
I feel like that mod is not properly calibrated to mod a shitppost community
“For 33 hours, I was … I was praying that if this had to happen here, that it wouldn’t be one of us. That somebody drove from another state, somebody came from another country,” he said. “Sadly, that prayer was not answered the way I hoped for. Just because I thought it would make it easier on us if we could just say ‘Hey, we don’t do that here.’”
Now that you’ve had to admit, “Hey, we do do that here” what are you doing with that? Have you experienced any epiphanies?
