  • nice, ill have to read it again. but on first read through, definitely not too dense. a little doom and gloomy, but thats not a deal breaker considering the reality in its current state. i personally have been working on projects and always bounce back and forth between “is it productive to constantly focus on the negative or more productive to focus on the solutions and their positivity”. another aspect of the fractal out thing is, on a personal level, the anger and hostility i feel about things has been the fuel to push to create and do things that bring out the positive side of that scale. if everything is reaching for equilibrium and we cannot have one without the other, than thats something i have to traverse internally so i can produce externally. what i produce is not an angry violent system, but something positive, fun, educational, and uplifting…but it stems from deeeeep anger and hatred for certain things, and a great love for something that i cannot fathom. especially when im deep in the depths of my negative state. so i guess im totally in agreement and understanding of what youre saying, and the message is good, and the procession from theme to theme is good, not sure the context or objective fully. but i am actually very motivated by this and my project does touch on the concepts of developing something for a post revolutionary world. but yeah preach on!

  • There are many linux distros like Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, Arch, Fedora etc, etc. and they usually come with a Default Desktop Environment Cinnamon, KDE, GNOME, XFCE, etc. etc. This is generally how the UI looks and functions. Menus, Window styles, buttons, and general overall visual theming. There are many ways to make the linux desktop environment better looking and functioning than macOS. Mac doesnt even have the ability to auto snap and resize the window to the edge of the screen until recently. And even then it decent at best. So beyond being able to fully customize the look of the desktop environment by using different ones with themes options, you can choose a DE that has better customization for user interaction that suites YOUR needs. Ofc Apple has a whole ecosystem of products that and a cloud that syncs your stuff across, but that comes at the cost of near zero customization ability…But whatever floats your boat. check out unixporn community, there are some really nice setups over there to give an idea of what is possible.
