Only the 997.1 GT3 and only in North America. All 997.1 Carreras had sunroofs in North America, there was no option to take it off. DOT crash tested those 997.1s with sunroofs. Porsche tried bringing the 997.1 GT3 without the sunroof but the DOT asked for a couple of cars to crash test since they never tested the chassis without the sunroof. Porsche said no. GT3s don’t grow on trees I guess. So the North American 997.1 GT3s have sunroofs.
GT4 is surprisingly compliant. Even more so with a DSC controller and if you downsize to 19’’ rim and go with a nice road tire (4S or a nice Conti). If you get the buckets, you can swap them for 4-way sofas easily and cheaply. The engine sounds great and is a blast. T is a fantastic car too but it’s turbo charged and more expensive.
