You probably already know this but don’t wear that thing. Google will probably overnight you a new one and a fireproof box for that one. I’m sure they don’t want stories of them exploding on people’s wrists floating around.

They’re pretty easy to manage. Just make a solution of dish soap in water (~1 tsp per L) and spray the plants. It dissolves their waxy coating and kills them quick. It shouldn’t harm the plants but spray a test area first to be sure. It won’t harm their eggs so you’ll probably have to spray a few times.

Yeah, you could primary ferment in an open container and the risk would be very small.

Taking a shot every time you swap the airlock is probably a better use for that vodka 🥃
