News@lemmy.world•U.S. citizen shot from behind as he warned ICE agents about children gathering at bus stop, lawyers say
3·5 days agoIdentifying agents and their families is the silver bullet, which is why it’s seen as such an offense to the government. Currently, agents are able to threaten people and their families without similar threat, and they’re confident in their numbers in a fight. If they faced the same fears they impose, they would chill out very quickly.

10·6 days agoClaude and I program together, but none of what I write is AI assisted. I write this stuff for my and all of your amusement - the world has become satire and it should be spotlighted.
I make very good money in general, and I have some qualms about how a deadline and monetization might affect the work. Let’s smell the flower, not pick it, and move on with this for now.

2·13 days agoThere are people who are quietly living a great life with wealth, I’ve met some of them. Money only amplifies who a person is, because it gives them a bigger platform to act.
You know that person who can never have enough, and has some big hole inside them they keep trying to fill from the outside? Give them a few billion and here you are.

10·21 days agoTarget sent credit card information to the back of the store unencrypted. Bluetooth didn’t need encryption because nobody can get that close. You could stop 50% of malware by changing the name of your windows directory. Security through obscurity was believed to work, every automated oil rig in the gulf was operating in the clear even into the 2000’s.
Wild times.
