Why would they do that, they can’t even sell you minecoins on the Java edition

I went to college in the mid-late 2010s and I recall they specifically banned WiFi routers, but when I checked what they meant specifically all they cared was that it didn’t broadcast on the 2.4 or 5 ghz spectrum and if it was all wired I was fine.
Makes sense. Would that not be trivially mitigated by just blocking dhcp responses from unapproved servers on the switch though?
A consumer router only operates DHCP on the LAN side. Presumably one would plug the WAN side into the university network, making this a non-issue.
Using a different high level interface to generate code is completely different? The fundamental concept is the same even if the UI is very different.
I generally avoid voluntarily giving money to people threatening to sue me.
“No code” programming has been a thing for a while, long before the LLM boom. Of course all the “no code” platforms generate some kind of code based on rules provided by the user, not fundamentally different from an interpreter. This is consistent with that established terminology.
Not gonna lie, I’m impressed that some region-specific company in India figured it was worth their time and effort to try posting an advertisement on Lemmy.
Current gen MacBooks have massive batteries. The MacBook Pro 14 inch is 70-73Wh, same as your G14, and the 16 inch MBP is 100Wh, the legal limit to take on an airplane. Even the 13inch air, apple’s thinnest and smallest, is still 52Wh.
If a custom rom can’t support it, that’s more about the custom rom than Samsung here. They will almost certainly open source the kernel driver part, and any user library could be copied from the stock rom if absolutely necessary. If a rom developer doesn’t want to do that, well that can’t be reasonably pinned on Samsung.
I don’t disagree with anything you said, but cheese can naturally be yellow and make yellow Mac and cheese without any dyes. I buy blocks of yellow cheese, shred them myself and use it for homemade Mac and cheese, no artificial dyes and it turns out delightfully yellow if the cheese was yellow.
In the branding, but the name of the installed applications in the UI do not contain “gnome”.
Is gnome that bad? They seem to have been moving away from weird names for many years now.
Huh? Custom web engines aren’t allowed on iOS, Firefox’s included. All iOS browsers are just UIs on top of Safari’s engine.
Edit: idk about the EU though
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most things and light laptops have had soldered ram for many years now. There are exceptions, but they’re few and far between.
This pretty much. I don’t care that much that a maxed out MBP is $6000 or whatever, my employer pays for that.

A newspaper in a territory with mandatory military censorship, which regularly publishes military lies as fact without additional verification, but sure “left center” and “high” credibility.
Why is it so important that you can see the specs of a watering system controller when logging in?
