I bought my Model 3 five years ago. The main reason was the exciting new experience after being jaded by the same old ICE stuff.
I don’t know I love the simple interface of my Tesla. I use voice control for a lot of things, e.g., “set AC to 68”, “open glovebox”. When I get into a conventional car it looks very cluttered to me.
This looks like another FUD post. So many "if"s and "and"s.
Yes, some small percentage of battery packs will have premature failures, but in general the battery pack is expected to outlast the useful life of the car.
My philosophy is if I need something new (car, etc), I’ll buy it. No point in waiting. Life is too short.
I highly doubt the charge door will open if the car is locked.
