I am NOT in any way well known in this topic, so take it as source? my ass answer, but if I’d have to guess it would be
- Poorer singlethread performance of ARM CPUs
- Missing instruction sets
- Android algorithms written in Java/Kotlin where as Windows (WinRAR, 7zip) are written in C/C++

I am from EU so you are probably fine.
On my rooted LineageOS ROM it works just fine, just gives a warning when starting it for the first time that I am using a “rooted device” and how my “security might be compromised” but it lets you continue and doesn’t show it ever again.
- The problem you encounter is making it money efficiant since e621 is mostly non profitable besides selling the name and shilling the parent company while big AI models are REALLY power hungry. Mi****oft restarted whole nuclear power plant to manage energy demand.
- If you propose a smaller model there is a problem of human expercionism. In other words every artist has his own artstyle. So you need the model to recognize EVERY possible artstyle which means you need to train it on EVERY possible artstyle which is not possible right now while making the AI somewhat usable.
- Now let’s set all previous problems aside and say they have the power, knowlage, time, will and money. You now need to actually train the AI. For that you need the training material. “No problem” you say to yourself. You run the biggest furry art archive on the internet. Well, that is the thing it is an archive, not your art. So you would need to ask EVERY artist whose art EVER got uploaded to the archive if they consent for AI to be trained on art they made, which if you can contact every of them I guarantee 95% will say no. And I belive you now need to do the same for people who taged those art pieces to give the AI something to learn from.
- with all that work you are left with mediocre algorithm who is 80% accurate 20% of the time. .
- In conclusion AI is not a silver bullet for every problem, not even something like tagging since they are really not as amazing as big corpos make them to be.
TLDR >!AI is not a solution from moral, practical and economy standpoint!< . Of course I am open to other’s standpoint so correct me if I am wrong anywhere. :3
aquacat@pawb.socialto linuxmemes@lemmy.world•What's your favourite OS that does not use systemd?4·2 months agoAlpine. No GNU and systemD.
I say that mainly because of the Motorola’s past with repair services of the outer sceen and casing. They will do it, for almost the price of a new phone. So as sick as the screen looks, when it breaks, you will have a pretty sick paper weight or pretty empty wallet.
- not saying other phones don’t have expensive replacement screens, just usually not as expensive as the device itself
that screen looks sick untill it breaks.
order: favcount :3
this, also the code is just
$[the node with mesh].mesh.duplicate()
and the same thing for the material. put it at a func start() and you’re set.

tldr; new UK laws are extremly privacy invading requiering ID and face photos to acces any explicit material including sites like Wikipedia, similiar to some USA state laws and it looks like EU might just follow.
